WHY VIRTUAL HOMESCHOOLING?

Eagle Life Learning Foundation is dedicated to creating innovative academic alternatives and supports for students with unique and diverse learning needs and experiences. We are engaged in the design and development of learning environments that incorporate the necessary flexibility to address the individual needs of students which is reflective of each student’s unique cognitive signature (including processing pathways, learning styles and thinking preferences).
Eagle Life Learning Foundation provides this academic experience with certified and highly experienced educators, and require that students have an adult in the home to assist with any technological issues that may arise.
Eagle Life Learning assesses each student’s learning styles, processing pathways (i.e. Multiple Intelligences), and thinking preferences (Analytic or Global). From this data an Individualized Learning plan is created highlighting the student’s
strengths, gifts and talents. The Processing Pathways (Multiple Intelligences) help determine how the student comprehends the information that they are exposed to content areas. Culturally relevant pedagogy guides instructional delivery through a digital platform (Zoom/Google), and serves in the development of performance-based assessments.
Eagle Life Learning has incorporated Virtual Field Trips (in response to COVID-19) and provides resources that enhance STEM/STEAM concepts.
The Virtual Homeschool encompasses the tenets of Social Emotional Learning that stresses the establishment of strong relationships being built between the student and the instructor. The Social Emotional Learning (SEL) components allow the student to identify, explore, develop and strengthen their innate gifts and talents, based on the student’s interest, abilities and needs. Students are provided a platform to enhance their creative and expressive voice, and students thrive academically, intellectually, socially and emotionally.
Quarterly Performance-Based Assessments and Parent Conferences are held. The Eagle Life Learning Virtual Homeschool addresses the academic needs of each student through a four hour per day/four-day week (Monday through Thursday)
with Fridays reserved for Virtual Field Trips and Independent Work.
