Dr. Jocelyn Gathers Drakeford
Co-Founder & President

Dr. Jocelyn Gathers Drakeford is an Educational Trainer/Consultant.  Dedicated and committed to meeting the educational needs of others, Dr. Drakeford has 35+ years of professional education experience, spanning from classroom teacher to Assistant Principal and Principal, and from Adjunct Professor to Assistant Professor of Practice.

 

She currently serves as Co-Founder and President of Eagle Life Learning Foundation Incorporated, a non-profit organization which creates innovative academic alternatives and educational supports to help non-traditional learners use their intellectual strengths to thrive academically, intellectually, socially and emotionally.

Dr. Alicia N. Waldon
Co-Founder & Vice President

Dr. Waldon is an Educational Consultant with approximately 18 years of professional education service acquired through a very diverse pathway. Dr. Waldon has teaching experience in community/technical colleges, at a detention center, traditional public high schools and public charter schools. Her educational leadership experience includes: director of curriculum and instruction, director of compliance, assistant principal, and principal.

Dr. Waldon also served as a Commissioner of the Board of Commissions Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools – Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA) and other leadership roles at MSA (i.e., Chair, Internal Coordinator, etc.). Dr. Waldon currently serves as an Accreditation Councilor for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

Dr. Waldon holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership degree from Bowie State University and has her Educational Administrative Certification from The George Washington University. She is a licensed school administrator and currently serves as a principal in Washington, DC.  â€‹
